Authentication

To enhance the security of your account, you can choose to enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) with SMS (text to your mobile phone) or an Authenticator app, meaning you will get a one time use Personal Identification Number (PIN) number each time you log in. Or you can choose to receive a re-usable PIN via an Email.

What is Multi-factor authentication (MFA)?

Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) requires you to input two pieces of information to access the portal such as a password and a PIN number. It is a crucial component of strong identity verification and helps us to keep your account safe.

What are your options?

To keep your data secure we offer a choice of MFA options. The first 2 are the most secure and send you a new, one time use PIN code every time you log in.
One time use PIN via SMS: Every time you log in, a one-time use PIN is sent to your mobile phone. You will need to enter this code when prompted during the login process.
One time use PIN via an Authenticator app: You will be required to download an authenticator app such as Google, Microsoft and Authy etc. to your mobile device. This app will generate a one-time use PIN every time you log in, and you will need to enter this code when prompted during the login process.

Recognising that not everybody has access to a mobile device we also offer a re-usable PIN via email. This PIN will be sent to your email address and will stay the same for each login attempt. You will need to remember this PIN and enter random characters from it each time you log in.

Please select your method of authentication.
